Easter 2011

The Easter Bunny arrived! The night before Easter we were at Grandpa and Grandma Heins's house visiting Roger and Dianne. Dianne made a comment to Decklyn about seeing a bunny hop by the window. Decklyn was ready to head for home and go to bed so the Easter Bunny wouldn't miss his house. LOL it was pretty cute!

Beckett sticking out his tongue, which is becoming his favorite thing to do!

Decklyn trying to reach an egg that the Easter Bunny put up high!

Searching for eggs left by the Easter Bunny.

Look at all these eggs I found!

Decklyn jumping on Great Uncle Randy's new trampoline at Buddenberg Easter.

On Easter Sunday we went to Randy's for lunch. Randy had bought a trampoline that the big guys put together. Everyone had a blast with the new toy! It even caused Decklyn and Justin to want a "jumpoline" of their own. Justin says by the end of the summer we'll have one. After everyone ate and enjoyed the trampoline Decklyn and Leyton went on an Easter egg hunt and got more candy! Neither of them will be on a sugar high LOL!

Back to Work

Well I started back to work this past Monday! After being home for 9 weeks I had gotten real used to being a stay at home mom and quickly forgot what my teaching job was like! I enjoy teaching even though it has quite a few challenges, but staying home with the kids was so worth it! It is nice to get back in a routine, but feel like I'm missing or will miss Beckett and some of his milestones. I know being away from him just during the day I won't miss that much, but he is just so fun now with the smiles and today I even got a little laugh out of him a few times. Overall, the week didn't go too bad but it could be that the boys were with Grandma and they got a lot of attention! Friday I ended up taking the day off to be with a sick Decklyn and Beckett went to hang out with Grandma Barb. He came down with the flu bug- I felt so bad for the poor guy vomiting a lot! He still hasn't eaten much for us. Yesterday he was feeling better just got tired and weak toward the end of the day. This morning he was doing well so the boys went to Grandma and Grandpa Heins's house. While there Decklyn slept for 4 hours and wasn't feeling very well after that- back to tummy ache with diarrhea and vomiting again. He may have to go to the doctor tomorrow!

While I was home with Decklyn on Friday I spent some time knitting. I made the bunny hat for Beckett and worked on a fish hat for Decklyn. I am so addicted to knitting right now, just need to start focusing on one project at a time and finish one before I start another- I'm driving Justin nuts with some of my unfinished projects! LOL

The Lil Bro is 9 weeks old!!!

How cute are these little guys?!?!

Well the time has come for me to start back to work. It is so crazy how fast 9 weeks went by!!! This past weekend the boys got to enjoy some time outdoors in the beautiful weather. I also had to pose the two of them for some big bro/lil bro pictures. I'll admit I'm not the best
photographer, but I was doing some practicing with my new camera. Wouldn't you think a nice fancy camera would just produce good pictures? LOL!

Beckett showing off his little smirk!

Decklyn cheesing about being the Big Bro!

Decklyn looks like a proud Big Brother!
(Not sure how long Decklyn will be the 'Big' Brother! LOL)

One of his many times swinging!!! He loved it and almost fell asleep just swinging. Had to flip his hat up so I could see his face. LOL
Decklyn loves this swing because he can get it going really high all by himself- we're still working on the pumping the legs on the other swing.

Enjoying the nice weather!

Decklyn thought he should practice up for t-ball this summer. Hopefully he decides it is ok to not wear snow boots to T-ball. LOL

Playing in the backyard with Dad- Decklyn loves playing outdoors and has recently spent some time playing with the neighbor kids. He is going to have so much fun this Spring and Summer! We may have trouble keeping him home! Actually so far he knows his boundaries and will wait on the edge of the yard until he gets permission to cross the street or alley to play with the other kids. I just hope it stays that way!
